Well, things are certainly busy in the life of Mr. Law lately. Here’s just a little bit about it.

The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus is supposedly going to be on Comic-Con this year. I’m not sure if Jude is going to be appearing himself, but from the looks of things he won’t be. Here is a little information about it anyways:

Thursday, July 23
4:30-5:15 Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus— Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of both Comic-Con and Monty Python, we welcome the sole American Python, the great animator and director Terry Gilliam (Time Bandits, Brazil, 12 Monkeys) to introduce you to his new film starring Christopher Plummer, Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Verne Troyer, Tom Waits, and Lily Cole. Dr. Parnassus is a fabulous anachronism, touring the streets of modern-day London in a horse-drawn carnival wagon accompanied by his beautiful daughter, devoted dwarf, and neophyte barker. On stage Parnassus plays a holy man whose Imaginarium can realize the innermost fantasies of all who dare to enter. Backstage, he is a drunkard, a gambler who centuries ago lost a wager with the Devil and must now pony up with his daughter once she turns sixteen. Tomorrow. Yet, there may still be hope for the Doctor and Valentina in the person of Tony, a well-dressed amnesic they rescue from a perilous fate and invite into their world of unrelenting magic and possibility.

New stills of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus have been released. About time!! ;) I will try to add these later today/tomorrow to the gallery, but for now you can view the new images here.

Also, there are rumors about a Cameron/Jude thing going on. Now, keep in mind they are rumors and not to be taken seriously. No one knows for sure, but if you would like to read several articles about it, then head on over here.

The global economy may be in meltdown mode, but the world’s premier movie showcase has rarely looked so vibrant. The mega-yachts are at hand and palaces along the seafront are booked out for A-listers like Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt and Jude Law. The late Heath Ledger’s unfinished stint in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” is guaranteed to create a festival buzz. “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” is a fantasy film about an extraordinary traveling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. Although the festival chose it as an out-of-competition title, filmmakers and U.S. sales rep Cinetic Media have opted to try to sell the film before the fest, which begins May 13.
